More Like Falling In Love

I’m not sure if anyone still reads this because i haven’t gotten a comment in a long time but i’ll keep posting just in case and because i think it’s pretty fun…

most of you have probably heard this song a lot, like me. but i never took a moment to really listen to the lyrics. it’s so true! and so real! it’s not one of those “follow Jesus and you’ll be happy for the rest of you life” songs. i think this kind of thing is how Christians should “advertise” Christianity, not as a religion but as a way of life.

so take a minute and listen to the lyrics as you watch the video.

More Like Falling in Love- Jason Gray

Give me rules
I will break them
Give me lines
I will cross them
I need more than a truth to believe
I need a truth that lives, moves, and breathes
To sweep me off my feet
It ought to be

More like falling in love
Than something to believe in
More like losing my heart
Than giving my allegiance
Caught up, called out
Come take a look at me now
It’s like I’m falling, oh
It’s like I’m falling in love

Give me words
I’ll misuse them
Obligations
I’ll misplace them
‘Cause all religion ever made of me
Was just a sinner with a stone tied to my feet
It never set me free
It’s gotta be

CHORUS

…It’s like I’m falling in love, love, love
Deeper and deeper
It was love that made
Me a believer
In more than a name, a faith, a creed
Falling in love with Jesus brought the change in me

  1. i always read them, am always challenged to think in a new way, and always feel wonder that one so young can think so deeply. what a woman God will make of you. right now just keep being his young protege and loving Him more each day.

  2. I’m with your mimi. I read them. Don’t always comment. Keep hanging out with Jesus, Carlee, and recording what you learn and one day you’ll be amazed looking back at how He has molded you and wooed you. He is making you into the woman HE created you to be. And it is GOOD!
